I would like to personally welcome you to the Canning Vale Primary School’s website.
Canning Vale Primary School is a great school! Students are motivated to learn, staff are dedicated and the school community, in particular the parents and caregivers, are supportive and a vital part of every day life.
Canning Vale Primary’s purpose is to provide an education that enriches the lives of every student. We believe that upon completing primary education at this school, every child will have developed their physical, social and academic skills to the best of their ability.
We focus on the provision of the most appropriate academic program for each child. We are always striving for excellence in every thing we do at Canning Vale. Our success is reflected in our excellent results, the general community view of the school and the high demand for enrolment from outside our catchment area.
In order to achieve our purpose, teachers and parents work together as a team. Underpinning all we do is a strong values program. Each classroom has a common set of rules, consequences and rewards. These have been developed based on staff beliefs that
- Teachers have the right to teach
- Students have the right to learn and
- Classroom rules exist to protect these rights and ensure the safety of everyone.
We will at all times
- Respect others and ourselves – aim for our personal best, be kind and courteous and raise a hand to speak
- Respect the property of others and the school
- Listen to and follow instructions
- Be safe
- Be prepared
- Demonstrate respect by not using put-downs.
